Learning new things sometimes takes more effort than we ever thought we would need. Forcing us beyond our comfort zones. We can learn to adjust our thinking about how to approach challenging concepts. Sometimes learning new things is difficult and frustrating. We can do hard things! Tenacity!!! Super Power!!!!
Meet and Greet

Get started with targeted tutoring by setting up a meet and greet. This is where we get to know each other, parents, students and tutor. This is where we decide as a team, if targeted tutoring is a good fit. We plan a fun activity we can do together, mini golf, swimming, hiking, horseback riding, snow shoeing, sledding. What can we do that would be really fun for you?
What do you already know?

In order to get to where you want to go, we need to know where your student is! This session is design to find the students strengths, abilities and skills. Using tools (demonstration techniques, verbal questions, paper pencil assessments), based on the students age, grade level, IEP goals and social emotional norms.
